oh my gosh its a real life snow day!!!!!! i listen to a song now called "20 years of snow"- regina specktor
i wish that not. i long for the sun and the heat. i was going to take this real life snow day to get all my tax stuff together. well, its almost 3:30, that's almost time for oprah, and i usually fall asleep after that, then its time to eat, so i guess i won't have time today :) like i said its a real life snow day, an excuse to do absolutely nothin'
i want to get snowed in til spring, okay?

"love at first sight", "having a soulmate thats meant just for you", these are nice ideas. aren't they? but love is a decision. it takes work. get out of your dream world and open up to reality, and deal.
we went to the lion king this weekend, it was amazing, any of you who haven't seen it, if you get the opportunity, don't miss it. they are going houston next.
*very cool cats.

ohhhhh, i wanted to stay in bed so bad today. kyle looked so cute and cuddley when i left this morning. its one of those days where its cold and rainy outside and all that sounds good is being cuddled up and warm. i am at work, its so quiet today. i love my job. i am reading, a walk in the woods, by bill bryson. its about hiking the appalachian trail, which is over 2000 miles long. yeah , it takes months to thru hike it. maybe someday. okay back to waiting for my next client.

okay, well then, after all that, we took a little trip to the beautiful colorado, one of our favorite places. and it's okay to drink the water! actually, in my opinion, its some of the best, coldest water i've ever had.

ok, so here's our first year together... recap, the good, the bad, the ugly.
-well, this time last year, i had just gotten my first i.v. and finally had a break in the constant flow of stuff coming out of my body. nice. and i ate a couple bites of pizza. kyle brought me roses when i was sick in the hostel.
- our actual wedding day, which was the eighth, was beautiful and far away on a beach.
-and i almost died next week , (last year) and we almost got stuck in a beautiful country barracaded by a landslide. when i look back, i'm so proud of kyle and what he did for me. he was amazing. he is my hero.
-picture this: bowels with no courtesy, an all tile bathroom (echos), and no t.v. to block out any noise. i still have yet to ask kyle if he was biting his lip to keep from laughing at the sounds coming from the bathroom. he deserves an award just for enduring that!
-when we finally arrived home, i was depressed or something for about a month or two. i think it was because of the intensity of what happened to us. post traumatic stress syndrome. it wasn't pretty, or fun.
note: my husband was amazing through all this also. he took care of me so well, and just understood. there was of course confusion at times because then i didn't realize why i was all depressed. but he was right there the whole time, just there.
-we learned alot about what marraige is all about the first couple months. taking care of each other, well, mainy kyle taking care of me. giving up all of yourself for someone else.

- here are some pics to help illustrate our story... there will be more to come
